Here is another Windows tweaking tool that costs nothing and does a good job as far as performance is concerned. XdN Tweaker works on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7.

The utility is extremely easy and simple to use. Like most of the tweaking tools, XdN also comes with useful, hidden tweaking options. But it’s really good to have if you like to have a simple tweaking tool rather than bloated tweaking tools that come with hundreds of options that you never use.

XdN offers many cool tweaking options like modify the number of folder views Windows saves, enable/disable ‘SendTo’ right-click option, enable/disable zip folders, remove/replace search box in Internet Explorer, enable/disable shortcut text, add/remove “Take ownership” option in Vista & 7, enable/disable Windows scanning AVI files for thumbnails, enable classic search in Windows explorer & Internet explorer, enable/disable user Account Control prompt in Vista and many more cool tweaking options that we use in everyday use.

All the tweaks are available in different categories, making it easier to navigate between the tweaks. And the best part is that this program gives you information for most of the tweaks out there in this utility.

As you can see, it sports a no-frills interface but who cares as long as it works, right? However note that you need to have “.NET Framework 2.0” if you are using Windows XP or Windows 2003.
