Watch The New Betta Fish Boot Screen In Windows 8 [Video]
Posted June 19, 2011 – 7:30 pm in: Windows 8The recently leaked Windows 8 Milestone 3 build 7989 (x64) includes a number of UI enhancements, a new Aero theme in metro-style, new wallpaper, new Windows Phone 7 style onscreen keyboard, and a new Betta fish boot screen. The all new Start screen and few other new goodies have been locked in this x64 build of Windows 8.
Users are reporting that one can’t click on the taskbar user tile picture and the new Task Manager is also missing (probably hidden) in 7989 build. It looks like Microsoft is working very hard to speed up Windows 8 system performance as 7989 boots much faster than earlier Windows 8 builds.
