Windows Vista to Windows 7 Upgrade Options

Microsoft has released "Windows 7 upgrade matrix" that outlines supported and unsupported upgrade paths for Windows 7 SKUs. So if you are planning to upgrade to Windows 7, you will find this upgrade options table as very useful.
The Windows 7 upgrade table clearly indicates that Windows 7 RC to Windows 7 RTM in-place upgrade is supported.
As you all know, Windows XP to Windows 7 in-place upgrade is not supported.
