WinFox Adds Jump Lists For Firefox In Windows 7
Posted July 20, 2009 – 3:12 pm in: FirefoxUsers who have used or users who have been using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox on Windows 7 might already have noticed some missing Windows 7 taskbar features for Firefox.
It’s true that Firefox doesn’t support Windows 7 Jump Lists feature by default. If you are confused with Jump Lists feature, Jump Lists are lists of recent items, such as files, folders, or websites, organized by the program that you use to open them.
In addition to being able to open recent items using a Jump List, you can also pin favorites to a Jump List, so you can quickly get to the items that you use every day.
So in order to get Jump Lists for your Firefox browser you need to use a tiny utility. The utility that I am talking here is WinFox. WinFox allows you get almost all windows 7 superbar (taskbar) features, including pin support, favicon support, taskbar progress overlay while downloading files, and frequently used items support. Windows 64-bit users can also get this nifty feature by downloading and installing x64 WinFox.

Doesn’t seem to work to well, how do I pin a web page for example. Not too mention that it comes with no instructions on installation, for example what am I supposed to with the XPI file?
