Bad news for ‘Yahoo! Messenger for Vista’ lovers as it is no longer available according to Yahoo blog. Yahoo blog claims that they have discontinued the version in order to focus on delivering one Windows experience that is optimized for all Windows users.

However, note that if you are using Yahoo! Messenger for Vista, you can continue with it but Yahoo! will not add any new features also will not provide product support.
You can download the stable and latest version of Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 here which works fine on Vista.
