Once you download and install Desktop Cleaner tool, an icon will be placed in the system tray area, which allows you access to Desktop Cleaner settings. Right-click on system tray Desktop Cleaner icon to see settings, log, cleanup folder, or cleanup now options.
Desktop Cleaner allows you exclude one or more file types from the file type list. If a file has not been used after a certain period of time, then the item will automatically be move to Cleanup folder. With default settings, you can find the Cleanup folder under Documents.
