With over a billion users worldwide, WhatsApp is the most popular smartphone messaging app out there right now. Owned by Facebook Inc, WhatsApp was exclusive to smartphones until about a year ago before it launched WhatsApp Web so that PC users can read and send messages without touching the desktop.
WhatsApp for Windows 10
While WhatsApp Web is easy to set up and use, it doesn’t provide the app or desktop client experience. WhatsApp has listened to users’ feedback and released a dedicated WhatsApp program for Windows as well as Mac. In short, PC users can now use WhatsApp right from the desktop without a web browser.
WhatsApp for Windows 10 and Windows 8 desktop is more or less like WhatsApp for smartphones. It allows you to send and receive text, photo, video, and audio files with ease. In addition to that, there is an important feature: live notification.
