I am a big fan of TeamViewer software and I use it pretty much every day to assist my friends in fixing various Windows issues and make their Windows experience better. Not too long ago, we let you know about the availability of the desktop version of TeamViewer software for Windows 10/8.
TeamViewer has just released the latest version of its touch optimized TeamViewer Touch app for Windows 10/8 and is now available at the Windows Store. Just like other apps, TeamViewer Touch has specially been designed for touch devices running Windows 10/8 and it supports x86, x64 as well as ARM processors.
The app will come in handy for users who own a Windows 10/8.1 tablet or touch device and want to use TeamViewer to remotely access Windows, Mac or Linux.
The current version of TeamViewer doesn’t include all features present in the desktop version. Currently it lets you remotely control computers only. In other words, if you want to someone to access and control your Windows 10/8 machine, you need to install the desktop version. This version of TeamViewer Touch can be used to control a computer only and cannot be used to receive incoming connections.
TeamViewer Touch uses 256 Bit AES session encoding and 1024 Bit RSA key exchange. Just like the desktop version, it’s very simple to use.
Install TeamViewer Touch app on your Windows 10/8 machine, install & run TeamViewer desktop version on the computer that you want to control, and then enter the TeamViewer ID and password of the remote computer in the app to start controlling the remote computer.
