With about a month left for the official launch of Windows 10, which will happen on July 29th, Microsoft recently shared how it created the Hero wallpaper for Windows 10 RTM. The Hero wallpaper is nothing but the default wallpaper that you see upon installing or upgrading to Windows 10.
Microsoft has put in a lot of time and effort to create the default wallpaper of Windows 10 RTM. While one can watch the official video to see how Microsoft created the default wallpaper or hero wallpaper for Windows 10 RTM, Microsoft has not provided a link to download the wallpaper yet.
As you can see, the wallpaper is elegant and is much better than the default wallpaper offered in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
Those of you testing pre-release builds of Windows 10, and also, those of you who are on Windows 7 as well as Windows 8.1 might want to download and set it as your desktop background.

The good news is that Khaos VFX has remade the wallpaper using Adobe After Effects. Those of you interested in Windows 10 RTM wallpaper can visit the link mentioned at the end of this article to download the wallpaper.
The Windows 10 RTM wallpaper has been shared in .TIF format, which is not very popular. You can open the .TIF image in Windows Photo Viewer, right-click on it and then click Set as desktop background. Alternatively, you can convert TIF image to PNG or JPG using a good image editing software like Paint.Net or any online image processing service.
The offered Windows 10 RTM wallpaper is available in 1920 x 1080 resolution. Visit the following link to download Windows 10 RTM wallpaper.
