Installing a new theme is one of the easiest and fastest ways out there to customize your Windows 10 desktop. As you likely know, a theme or also known as theme pack usually contains one or more desktop backgrounds and a window color. A theme may also include sound schemes, desktop icons, and screen savers.
Ever since the release of Windows 7, Microsoft has been releasing new desktop themes (theme packs) on a regular basis. The official Windows personalization gallery page has no less than three hundred themes for Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10.
One can also download themes from third-party websites but must be careful while downloading an unknown website.
Up until now, the official Windows personalization gallery was the only source to download official themes or theme packs for Windows 10.

The themes page on the Store has close to a hundred themes and will get more themes in coming months once Microsoft moves all themes from the personalization page to Store.
