A few months back, we covered a small tool named Windows 7 Login Screen Camera tool. Many of you might have been using the tool to capture the logon screen with a simple click. The developer of Windows 7 Login Screen Camera has now released a new Login Screen Capture tool for the latest Windows 8.
Windows 8 Login Screen Capture is a tiny tool that lets you take the snap of your current login screen with a mouse click. As you may know, there are very few working utilities available to capture Windows login screen.
This utility replaces the Easy of Access button. In simple words, once installed, click on the Ease of Access button on the logon screen to take the snap of the screen. Please note that you can’t capture Windows 8 Lock screen using this tool as there is no Ease of Access button on the lock screen.
How to install and use Windows 8 Login Screen Capture:
Step 1: Download Windows 8 Login Screen Capture zip file from here. Extract the zip file on to the desktop to get Install Win8 Login Screen Capture (.exe) file.
Step 2: Double-click on the .exe file and click Yes for the UAC prompt to launch the tool. Once launched, click on Install Program button to replace the default Ease of Access button with Login Screen Capture tool.
Step 3: Lock your PC and click on Ease of Access button to open snap the login screen and Ctrl + Alt + Delete screen. Click on Snap Login Screen button to capture the screen and then save the file.
Note: Use the Uninstall Program option present in the Windows 8 Login Screen Capture to remove this program from your PC.
