Focus mode is a built-in distraction-free writing/reading mode available in the Office Word program. The feature allows you can read/write documents without any distractions.

When the Focus mode is enabled, the Word program window fills your PC’s entire screen, and the toolbars also disappear.

Just like the standard mode, you can change the background color/theme of the Focus mode as well. However, many users often complain that they are unable to change the Focus mode background color or theme in Word.

No, you cannot choose a custom color for the Focus mode background. You must choose between one of the pre-defined colors. In my opinion, Word should have offered an option to select a custom color.
