Can you help me with skydrive, which I had installed on my desktop and my laptop? When I changed a file on one, it was synched on the other, but now that I have installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop, it no longer synchs. How cool is that? Well, I’m not so cool! In fact, I think it is scandalous Microsoft promotes skydrive with Windows 8, then emasculates it with its first update.) So, any way of preventing the M/S reputation from going into free fall??? Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you. P.S. Is it something to do with the fact that FileManager.exe is suspended for some reason?

My laptop runs on Windows 8.0 Professional 64-bit. I was trying to install Win 8.1 preview, it said my BIOS needs to be upgraded. Currently the BIOS string is A09; ROM size 2.0 MB. Also, it took quite a good number of attempts to initiate downloading win 8.1 preview. Please advise.
