Laptop users often use an external mouse for a better experience. If you feel that your laptop’s touchpad is not great and would like to automatically disable it when a mouse is connected, you can do so with ease.

Change touchpad sensitivity
At times, while typing, the cursor accidentally moves to a different location because of the high sensitivity of the touchpad. In previous versions of Windows, we had to use third-party utilities to change the default sensitivity. Luckily, there is a built-in option in Windows 10 to change the touchpad sensitivity. Here is how to do that.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings app > Devices > Touchpad.
Step 2: In the Touchpad sensitivity section, select Medium or Low sensitivity to avoid moving cursors while typing.
Enable or disable the touchpad

Change the scroll direction in touchpad
You know that when you place two fingers on the touchpad and scroll up, the page scrolls down. Many PC users like the other way around. That is, like in macOS, they want to see the page scroll down when they scroll down fingers on the touchpad.

I use Xcel for my record keeping its an old version and I keep the record on a thumb drive for convenience of using it
on any of my computers. When I use it on a computer running windows 10 and hit save it often takes a long time before it actually saves and I can carry on working. As I am comfortable using my older version and do not wish to upgrade to the Windows 10 version what can I do to to stop this happening? Also on this Lenovo keyboard the END key only moves the curser on space not to the end of the sentence, what is the cure?

I think for the benefit of those of us not born with batteries a simple booklet of the basics would be extremely helpful
It sometimes takes me longer to find the information I need than the fix when I find it. A good example is the mice and
pointing devices in device manager, the information is not there so its off again to find what you need. We are not all tech whizzes.
