Windows 10 offers plenty of personalization options. One of them is the ability to pick an ascent color.
In Windows 10, you can either go with the default black color of the taskbar, and white color of window title bar, or you can configure Windows 10 to use the current ascent color for the title bar, Start menu, and taskbar. On top of that, there is even an option to automatically pick an ascent color from your desktop background.
In Windows 10 Anniversary Update and earlier builds of Windows 10, it was not possible to pick a custom ascent color in Settings. One had to choose from a palette of close to fifty hues (forty-nine to be precise). To set a custom color, one had to use the color mixer available in the hidden classic Color and Appearance window.
Many users who wanted to have their own color on the taskbar, title bar, and Start menu background color had requested Microsoft to include an option to choose custom ascent color in the Settings app.
Microsoft has finally provided an option to choose your own color ascent color in Windows 10. Starting with Windows 10 Creators Update (build 150014), Windows 10 supports custom ascent color.
This means that, you can now configure Windows 10 to set your desired color as the title bar, taskbar, Start menu background, and window border colors without the help of third-party tools or Registry modifications.

Set custom color using Settings app
Select a custom ascent color in Creators Update or above versions of Windows 10. If you are on earlier (build 14997 or earlier) build of Windows 10, please refer to the instructions in Method 2.
Step 1: Open Settings app. Navigate to Personalization > Colors.
Step 2: Click Custom color. And if you cannot see Custom color option, it’s likely because you are running 14997 or earlier build of Windows 10.
Step 3: Use the sliders to create your own color. Click More icon to see RGB options.

Set custom taskbar and title bar color via Control Panel
You can use the color mixer in Color and Appearance window to choose a custom ascent color and set the same for Start menu, taskbar, title bar and window borders.
Step 1: Open Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows logo and R keys (Windows logo + R).
Step 2: In the Run command box, type control color, and then press Enter key. This action will open Color and Appearance window.
Step 3: Click Show color mixer to see hue, saturation, and brightness sliders. Craft out a color by moving these sliders.
As you move these sliders, Windows 10 displays live preview of the color on the title bar if you have enabled colored title bar in Settings.
Step 4: Finally, click Apply to set the color.
