4 Ways To View All Installed Apps On Mac

This is the easiest way to view all installed apps on your Mac.

Step 1: Open the Finder.

Step 2: In the left pane of the Finder, click Applications to open the Applications folder, which shows all installed apps.

View all installed apps on Mac with a keyboard shortcut

Users who prefer to use a keyboard shortcut to quickly open the Applications folder can use this handy hotkey.

Step 1: Simultaneously press Command, Shift, and A (Command + Shift + A) keys to open the Applications folder. The Application folder displays all installed apps.

Use Launchpad to view installed apps on Mac

The built-in Launchpad can help you find and launch installed apps. However, not all apps might not show up here.

All recent versions of macOS ship with a powerful built-in System Report tool that shows information about your Mac’s hardware and installed software.

Step 1: Click on the Apple menu and then click About This Mac.

Step 2: Under the General tab, click the System Report button to see System information.

Step 3: Here, on the left pane, expand Software and then click Applications to see all built-in apps as well as apps installed by you.

    I’ve been looking for a solution to finding all my applications for thirty minutes now. I typically use my mouse to access all the apps (by pinching), but I switched to a non-apple mouse recently. THANK YOU for finally offering a solution! I chose the option where I put the launchpad in my dock :)
