Did you buy a new or used PC preinstalled with Windows? Would you like to know if Windows 11 is installed on your computer? If yes, read on to learn how to check whether Windows 11 is installed on your PC.

Most computer users can easily identify the version of Windows installed on their computers. Since visual appearance, from Start menu to taskbar to File Explorer to Settings and many other things, is different from Windows 10/8/7 to Windows 11, you can quickly tell if you are running Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Method 1 of 3

Use the About Windows dialog to check if Windows 11 is installed on your PC

Step 1: In the taskbar or Start menu search box, type winever.exe and then press the Enter key to open the About Windows dialog.
