You can use the Alarms & Clock app to set the alarm to make sure you are on time for work, school, meetings, and other important events. It can also be used to get reminders to take breaks at specific times of the day.

Before we tell you how to use the Alarms and Clock app to set alarms, we must know a few things about the app. First, an alarm will go off even if your PC is locked. That said, the app will not function when your PC is in sleep mode or shut down. So, alarms won’t work when your PC is turned off.

When an alarm rings, a desktop notification will pop up with options to snooze and dismiss. Unless you have mute PC’s volume, you will also hear the alarm ring.

Set the alarm in Windows 10

Step 1: Open the Alarm & Clock app using the Start/taskbar search.

Step 3: Now, click the Add an alarm button.

Step 4: Clicking the Add an alarm button will open the following flyout where you can set a time for the alarm. As you can see in the picture below, you can even label the alarm and select a sound for the alarm from a list of sounds.
