While it might not offer all the features available in third-party antivirus software like Avast Free for Windows 10, it’s adequate for most home users.

I have used this tool and followed the instructions it said to do to turn everything off and then click disable windows defender and that button just flashes at me when I click it and when I click next it says it’s done but then my windows defender screen comes back up anyway. I just paid Avast 120 U S Dollars to disable it and it’s still enabled :( I tried going in services.msc and the place to stop the services is grayed out so I can’t stop windows defender! Also I have windows 10 home edition and I can’t use gpedit.msc So please help me kill windows defender in Windows 10 home edition. I want to use my Avast free not windows defender
