If your PC has a small SSD or HDD, you might want to regularly keep a tab on the free disk space to avoid performance issues or running out of space.
Although you can use the built-in Disk Management utility to check the available disk space on all connected internal and external drives, it takes a couple of clicks to open Disk Management and check the available disk space. Instead, why not make This PC, which shows all drives/partitions, always display used and free space for each drive?
Yes, This PC in File Explorer can be configured to always show the free and used disk space. This way, you can keep a tab on the available disk space without opening the Disk Management tool.
Always show disk space in File Explorer, This PC on Windows 11 PC
Step 1: Open File Explorer and then click This PC in the left navigation pane to navigate to This PC. If it’s missing, refer to restore This PC in File Explorer navigation pane guide.
