Windows 11 offers plenty of ways to customize the operating system. Several settings and options exist to personalize the operating system to our desire.
Most PC users prefer personalizing the Windows operating system soon after the installation. While some users prefer changing only the desktop background and accent color, some avid users customize the Windows operating system as much as possible.
Although Windows 11 ships with many mouse cursors, and allows to change size and color, some users like the cursors in macOS. Luckily, you can now install the latest macOS Tahoe cursor on your Windows 11 PC with a few clicks. A DeviantArt user is offering a macOS Tahoe cursor pack for Windows 11.
This guide shows you how to download and install macOS Tahoe cursors in Windows 11.
Install macOS Tahoe cursors in Windows 11
Step 1: Visit this page of DeviantArt (you need to create a free account) or this page of Google Drive and download the macOS Tahoe cursor pack on your Windows 11 PC.
Step 2: Extract the downloaded .zip file. You can right-click the downloaded cursor pack (.zip) file and then click Extract all. Select a location to save the content of the .zip file.
Step 3: Open the MacOS Tahoe Cursors folder and then navigate to either the Tail or Tailless folders. Click on either With shadow or Without shadow, depending on the type of cursors you would like to install.
Step 4: Locate the Install (.inf) file, right-click it, and then click the Install option.
Step 5: When you get the following security warning, click the Open button.
Step 6: Now that you have installed the macOS cursors, it’s time to apply it. Type main.cpl in the Start or taskbar search and then press the Enter key to open the Mouse Properties dialog.
Step 7: Here, under the Pointers tab, select macOS Tahoe Cursor from the Scheme drop-down. Click the Apply button to apply it. That’s it! The new macOS cursor should now appear.
Uninstall and remove macOS Tahoe cursors from Windows 11
Step 1: Type main.cpl in the search and then press the Enter key to open the Mouse Properties dialog.
Step 2: Switch to the Cursors tab. Select Windows Default from the Scheme drop-down and then click the Apply button to restore the original cursors.
Step 3: Next, select macOS Tahoe Cursor from the drop-down. Click the Delete button.
Step 4: Click the Yes button when you are prompted for confirmation to uninstall and delete the macOS Tahoe cursors.
