YouTube Music is one of the many music streaming services out there. Although YouTube Music is not as widely used as its competitors, such as Spotify and Apple Music, it still enjoys a decent market share in most regions/countries.
Like other Google products, an official YouTube Music app for the Windows operating system does not exist. Windows 11 and 10 users who want to enjoy the YouTube Music service have to visit the website in a web browser.
A dedicated official YouTube Music app for the Windows operating system would have made music streaming easier and enhanced the overall experience. Sadly, the chances of Google offering an official YouTube and YouTube Music app for Windows are very slim.
Luckily, there is a workaround to install YouTube Music as an app on your Windows 11 PC. No, we are not talking about installing the Android app on a Windows 11 PC using emulators. Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge offer a way to install websites as PWA apps, and the installed apps behave just like any other apps.
