The classic Windows Fax and Scan app is not installed by default in Windows 11, as it has been replaced by a new app called Scan.
Although Windows Fax and Scan is not part of Windows 11, it can be installed as an optional feature right from the Settings app.
Users who frequently use Windows Fax and Scan to scan documents/pictures and also send faxes (surprisingly, a good number of businesses still use fax) might want to create a Windows Fax and Scan shortcut on the Windows 11 desktop so that they can access the program with ease.
Luckily, adding the Windows Fax and Scan shortcut to the Windows 11 desktop is easy. In fact, there is more than one way to add Fax and Scan to the desktop.
