Get New Apple TV Aerial Screen Saver In Windows 10/8.1/7

Last month, Apple announced its fourth generation new Apple TV and pre-orders for the new Apple TV had begun a couple of hours ago. The latest set-top box from Apple comes with a faster processor, a redesigned remote with touchpad, and support for voice commands via Siri.

In addition to a better user interface and plenty of other improvements, the new Apple TV also includes a bunch of beautiful screen savers. Apple calls them cinematic screen savers, and they are stunning.

These cinematic screen savers display aerial HD videos of stunning locations from various parts of the world. According to Apple, these new screen savers or high definition videos are shot specifically for Apple TV.

Download & install Apple TV Aerial screen saver on Windows PC

Follow given below directions to download and install the new Apple TV aerial screen saver on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.

Please note that Aerial screen saver requires .Net Framework v4.6.

Step 1: Visit this page of GitHub and download Apple TV’s Aerial Screen Saver by clicking the big download button.

Step 2: Extract the downloaded zip file to a folder or desktop.

Step 3: Right-click on the Aerial (.scr) file and then click the Install button to install the screen saver.

Step 4: Clicking Install option will automatically open Screen Saver Settings dialog. Here, you can configure how long before the screen saver gets activated. Click the Settings button to change the default settings of the screen saver.

Of all the HD videos available, the Aerial screen saver shows specific videos depending on the time of the day. You can disable this by clicking Settings and then unchecking the Use time of the day. When this Use time of the day option is disabled, the Aerial screen saver will show random videos. Believe us, these high-definition videos or screen savers are really amazing.

    The latest version gives you the ability to cache the data.

    Use caution! This screensaver does not cache any of the videos. It just streams high quality video over and over each time it’s activated. My brother got hit with a $900 over usage bill last month because of this screensaver. It had consumed over 1TB of data in one month.

    I have not expressed correctly, the problem is another. I use Windows 7 64bit? with integrated graphics and can not run normal. When I run screen saver stay frozen.Is there a way to optimize to run correctly(in slow motion)?

    Don’t worry about the speed as the actual speed of the screen saver is very slow. It’s not your PC’s problem.

    Hello, this screensaver is the best for the last year I’ve found. Thank you to share with all users. I run Aerial and speed is like walking in slow motion . I think pc is my good (AMD 4 core with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM only video card is integrated). I ïnstall Net Framework v4.6 .Can you tell way have this problem?
