Backup Start menu layout in Windows 10
Step 1: Run Backup Start Menu Layout tool.
Step 2: Click on the Create backup icon to create a backup of the current layout of the Start menu.
You can create multiple backups and name them as you wish. To rename a backup, right-click on its entry and then click Rename. You can also delete individual backups.
Restore Start menu layout in Windows 10
Step 1: Run Backup Start Menu Layout utility.
Step 2: Select a previously created backup (if you multiple backups) which you want to restore and then click the Restore backup icon to restore the Start menu layout.
The layout will be restored immediately without any delay. You neither need to restart your PC nor File Explorer to apply the changes.
