AnyDesk is an excellent remote desktop solution available for Windows and other platforms such as macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
With AnyDesk, you can remotely access other computers with a few mouse clicks. It’s often used to troubleshoot other computers remotely.
Whether you want to remotely access another computer or let others access your computer, you need to install the AnyDesk app on your Windows 10/11 PC.
This guide shows you how to download and install AnyDesk software on a Windows 10/11 computer.
Download and install AnyDesk on Windows 10/11 PC
Step 1: The first step is to download the AnyDesk installer from the official website. Visit this AnyDesk page and then click the Download button to download the AnyDesk installer file.
Step 2: Run the installer file to see the following window.
Step 3: Here, click the Install AnyDesk on this device link.
Step 4: In the following screen, you do not need to change any default settings. Simply click the Accept and Install button.
NOTE: On this page, you can change the AnyDesk install location if you do not want it to be installed in the default installation location. To change, type a new path in the Installation path field.
Step 5: When you get the User Account Control prompt, click the Yes button.
Step 6: If you get the following prompt, click the Install button to let the installer install the AnyDesk printer (for remote printing).
Step 7: In a few seconds, AnyDesk installation will be completed.
Step 8: Once the installation is complete, you can launch the AnyDesk software and start using it.
Uninstall and remove AnyDesk from Windows 10/11
Step 1: On a Windows 10 PC, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features page. On a Windows 11 computer, navigate to Settings > Apps > Installed apps page.
Step 2: Look for the AnyDesk entry. On Windows 10, click on the AnyDesk entry to see the Uninstall button. Click the Uninstall button.
On Windows 11, click the three dots next to the AnyDesk entry and then click the Uninstall option.
Step 3: When asked for confirmation, click the Yes button to uninstall and remove AnyDesk from your Windows 10/11 installation.
