Lenovo laptops generally ship with an app called Lenovo Vantage or Lenovo Commercial Vantage. The Lenovo Vantage app lets you do various things, from updating your PC’s firmware to checking your Lenovo PC’s warranty details.
The Lenovo Vantage app lets you find your PC’s serial number, product number, and BIOS version, check and install BIOS and driver updates, view warranty details, view device specifications such as memory, storage, and processor details, and change a few device settings.
As said earlier, Vantage by Lenovo is a useful app for Lenovo computers. If the app is missing on your Lenovo PC, you can install it with a few clicks. Likewise, if you find the app not so helpful, you uninstall it from Windows 11 installation.
This guide shows you how to install and uninstall the Lenovo Vantage app on a Windows 11 PC.
Download and install the Lenovo Vantage app on Windows 11 PC
Step 1: Launch the Microsoft Store app using the Start menu or taskbar search.
Step 2: Once the Store is launched, type Lenovo Vantage in its search field and then press the Enter key.
Step 3: Next, click on the Lenovo Vantage entry to open its dedicated page. Here, click the Get/Install button to download and install the Lenovo Vantage app on your Windows 11 PC.
Once installed, you should be able to launch it via search or the Start menu.
Uninstall the Lenovo Vantage app from Windows 11 PC
Step 1: On your Windows 11 computer, open the Settings app using search or Windows logo + I hotkey.
Step 2: In the Settings app, click Apps on the left pane. On the right side, click Installed apps to see a list of all installed apps on your PC.
Step 3: Ensure that the List view is selected by clicking on the List view icon located at the top right of the window. Find the Lenovo Vantage entry.
Step 4: Click the three dots next to the Lenovo Vantage entry and then click Uninstall.
Step 5: When asked for confirmation, click the Uninstall button to uninstall and remove Lenovo Vantage from your Windows 11 installation.
If you want to install the Lenovo Vantage, you can get it from the Microsoft Store.
Can I install the Lenovo Vantage app on HP, Dell, or Acer computers?
As the name clearly implies, the Lenovo Vantage app is designed and developed for Lenovo computers only. If you own a Dell, HP, or Acer computer, please check your PC manufacturer’s website for equivalent software.
