Most of the inbox apps in Windows 11 have been carried forward from Windows 10. The Calculator is one of them.
The Calculator app in Windows 11 supports Windows 11’s Mica material/theme. The Mica effect combined with the new icon makes it look different from the one found in Windows 10.
The built-in Calculator is probably the best Calculator out there for Windows. In addition to the standard mode, it also offers scientific, graphing, programmer, and date calculation modes. In addition, currency, volume, length, energy, weight and mass, temperature, area, speed, power, time, data, pressure, and angle can be converted from one unit to another unit.
The Calculator app mostly works without any issues. That said, if you are encountering problems while opening or working with it, you can consider reinstalling it.
Following are the three easy ways to reinstall the Calculator app in Windows 11 without using third-party software.
Method 1 of 3
Reinstall Calculator via Settings in Windows 11

Step 2: In the left pane of the Settings app, click Apps. Now, on the right side, click Apps & features to see a list of all inbuilt and installed apps.
Step 3: Scroll down the list to see the Calculator entry. Perform a click on the three vertically stacked dots icon (refer to the picture below) and then click the Uninstall option.
Step 4: When asked for the confirmation, click the Uninstall button again to uninstall and remove the Calculator app.
Step 5: Now that you have uninstalled the Calculator app, launch the Store app, search for Windows Calculator, open the Windows Calculator’s page and then click the Install button to download and install the same.
Method 2 of 3

Apps & Features is not showing on my Windows 11 machine. Without that, nothing here seems to be relevant. :(

I have no microsoft store and no calculator app on my windows 11 laptop for some reason. I’ve tried all the instructions on the internet and none of them work. I would love to download the calculator but from somewhere else besides the store.
