With the default installation settings, Windows 11 does not display the battery percentage on the taskbar. Instead, the taskbar displays a battery icon on the taskbar.
The problem with the battery icon on the taskbar is that it’s hard to figure out the exact remaining battery percentage. While it does give a clue about the remaining battery level, making out the remaining battery level in terms of percentage is hard for most users.
If you are on a Windows 11 PC, there are a few ways out there to see the remaining battery percentage without installing any third-party tools.

Show battery percentage on Windows 11 taskbar

Recent versions of Windows 11 offer an option to show the battery percentage right next to the battery icon on the taskbar. It’s just that you need to turn on the feature. Here is how.
Step 1: Open the Windows 11 Settings app using search or any other method.
Step 2: Navigate to Power > System & battery page.
Step 3: On the right side, turn on the Battery percentage option to show the battery percentage on the taskbar.
If the option is missing, update Windows 11 to the latest version and then try again.

Step 1: Perform a click on the battery icon on the taskbar to open the Quick Settings panel.
