However, you do not need any third-party software to update the Bluetooth driver on your Windows-running computer. Windows 11 offers a built-in way to update the Bluetooth driver.
This guide will show you how to update the Bluetooth driver in Windows 11 without using third-party software.
Method 1 of 2
Update Bluetooth driver via Settings app in Windows 11
Step 1: Open the Windows 11 Settings app. On the left side, click Windows Update to open the Windows Update page.
Step 2: Here, click the Check for updates button. Wait for a while for Windows to search for the available updates. Once done, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: On the same page, click Advanced options.
Step 4: Here, under the Additional options section, click Optional updates.
Step 5: Now, click Driver updates to see all updates available for device drivers installed on your computer.
If an update is available for your Bluetooth driver, it should be visible here. If available, select it and then click the Download and install button to download and automatically install the Bluetooth driver.
If updates are available for other drivers, you can select them and then click the Download and install button.

Manually download and install Bluetooth driver update
If an updated device driver is not available via Windows Update (Method 1), you can try to manually download and install it. Here is how.
Step 1: Visit your PC manufacturer’s website and download the Bluetooth driver using your computer’s model number. Manufacturers generally only offer the latest version of the drivers.
Step 2: Run the downloaded installer file to install the latest version of the Bluetooth driver.
Step 3: If prompted, reboot your computer once.
