Installing and using MacType on Windows 10
Step 1: Visit this page and download the newest version of the MacType installer.
Step 2: Run the downloaded installer and follow on-screen directions to get it installed. During the installation, we recommend you choose the Complete installation option.
Step 3: Once installed, launch MacType, select language as English.
Step 4: Select Load with MacTray option, check Run as administrator and then click the Next button after confirming that Standalone load mode is selected.
NOTE: You can also choose other modes depending on your needs.
Step 5: Select the Mac type profile that you would like to load and then click the Finish button.
Step 6: When you see the confirmation dialog, click the OK button to apply all changes. That’s it!

Thank you for this article, fonts *do* look better after installing but it’s still not quite as good as being on a real Mac. MS really needs to get on the ball here. Working in MacOS is *so* much more pleasant than being stuck on Windows.

Useless garbage. Font rendering? Are you fucking joking. This shit just wastes CPU cycles (reduces battery life) for some bullshit placebo nonsense. Wont even be stable since windows constantly updates, this is just going to waste battery life and crash your system for no perceptible gain. Fucking idiots.

First of all – don’t install this shitty program. Fonts actually look worse than win10.
Second – Uninstalling is nightmare – I had to use recovery mode to switch shittype to tray mode, and only than unninstaler worked as planned. If shittype is in registry mode than unninstal will turn off your driver for graphic card.
