Last week, we showed you how to change Windows 7 library icons quickly with the help of Library Icon Changer. Today, we have yet another fantastic utility that helps you change the Windows 7 drive icons in a jiffy.

Drive Icons

My Drive Icon is a small utility for Windows 7 and Vista that helps you change explorer drive icons without playing with Windows files and registry. This is a portable utility, which requires no installation.

My Drive Icon

Simply download and run this utility with admin rights to start customizing your drive icons. With this utility you can assign different icons to different drives. To change a drive icon, select the desired drive from the list and then choose an icon file from your collection (note that the icon file must be in .ico format only).

My Drive Icon also lets you revert to the default Windows icons quickly. Overall, a great tool to customize your Windows 7 and Vista drive icons.

This is very good. However I was trying to find a solution to my external USB WD drive not showing an icon. I thought this would solve it but it hasn’t.

Does anyone know the solution? Thanks.
