WhatsApp is one of the most used instant messaging services out there. Today, most smartphone users use WhatsApp messages instead of SMS (short message service).
With WhatsApp, we can share voice messages, videos, photos, documents, and locations using WhatsApp for mostly free (mostly free because it consumes data and data is not free). Besides that, WhatsApp can be accessed from computers as well.
Since WhatsApp is available for Windows 10/11 as well, many users have installed it to send and read messages from their computers.
Like on your smartphone, WhatsApp on Windows 10/11 also shows notifications on the desktop whenever you receive new messages. While this is a nice feature, it can be distracting, especially if you often receive messages.
This guide will show you how to turn off WhatsApp notifications on Windows 10/11 desktop.

Step 2: Here, in the Get notifications from these apps (Windows 10) or Notifications from apps and other senders (Windows 11) section, you can move the toggle button to the “Off” position to disable all WhatsApp notifications on the desktop.
