Last Updated on October 20, 2022 by admin 3 Comments

Do you want to mirror or show your iPhone or iPad screen on your Windows 10 PC? Want to quickly see your iPhone or iPad screen on a Windows 10 PC? In this guide, we will see how to easily mirror the iPhone or iPad screen on a Windows 10 PC for free.

We all know that the AirPlay feature in iOS can be used to mirror the iPhone/iPad screen on Mac or Apple TV. But what if you want to mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to a Windows 10 PC?

With default settings, you cannot mirror an iOS device on your Windows 10 PC, as Windows operating system does not come with an AirPlay receiver. You will need an AirPlay receiver to begin mirroring the iOS device screen on a Windows PC.

Luckily, there is a free utility out there to help you mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to Windows 10 PC’s screen.

LonelyScreen acts as an Airplay receiver when installed on a Windows PC. So, all you need to do is install the free LonelyScreen on your Windows 10 PC to start mirroring your iOS device screen to Windows 10 PC screen.

Mirror or show iPad or iPhone screen on Windows 10 PC

Complete the given below directions to mirror your iPhone display on your Windows 10 PC’s display.

Step 1: First of all, turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone/iPad as well as on your Windows 10 PC, and make sure that both iPhone/iPad and Windows 10 PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 2: On your PC, visit the official page of LonelyScreen and download the LonelyScreen installer. Run the downloaded setup file to install the software on your PC.

If you see the message, please click the Fix It (Administrator) button and then click the Yes button when you get the UAC prompt to unblock LonelyScreen in Windows Firewall.

Step 4: Now that you have unblocked LonelyScreen in Windows Firewall, you will see the LonelyScreen window. As you can see in the picture below, the default name of the LonelyScreen receiver is LonelyScreen, which is the name you will see on your iPhone or iPad in the AirPlay receiver’s list.

To change the default receiver name, please click on the default name, type the new name, and then click Save.

Step 5: On your iPhone or iPad, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center.

Step 6: In the Control Center, tap AirPlay Mirroring. Your iPhone/iPad will now start looking for AirPlay receivers. In a few seconds, you should see the LonelyScreen receiver there.

NOTE: If you cannot see the AirPlay mirroring button, please swipe horizontally to find the AirPlay mirroring option.

If you cannot see the LoenlyScreen receiver there, it’s likely because you have not turned on Wi-Fi on your iOS device, or it could also be because your iPhone/iPad and Windows 10 PC (where you have installed LonelyScreen) are not on the same Wi-Fi network.

Step 7: Finally, tap the LonelyScreen entry (or whatever you name it) on your iPhone/iPad to begin mirroring your iPhone/iPad screen on your Windows 10 PC or device.

Not free – 30day trial with nag screens – also looks like company is out of business- I paid received no activation key and they didn’t respond to requests for same. Had to get Paypal to reverse the transaction – pain in the rear end all told.
