As you know, the Windows Update page in the Settings app lets you check for updates, pause and resume updates, view update history, and install optional and driver updates.
Windows 11 users do not need to manually check for updates. The operating system automatically checks and installs updates in the background.
That said, many users often open the Windows Update page in the Settings app to manually check for updates. Opening the Windows Update page requires multiple clicks.
If you often visit the Windows Update page to check for updates, you should create a shortcut of the Windows Update on the Windows 11 desktop area so that you can open the Windows Update page with a double-click.
