While I am not a big fan of Bing search, I do visit the Bing homepage every day to see the latest picture on the homepage. As we all know, Bing showcases one beautiful picture every day on its homepage and also provides useful information related to the picture to help you explore the world around you.
There have been a few utilities to download Bing homepage picture and automatically set it as desktop background. There is even a free tool to set Bing picture as Windows 7 logon screen background. But unfortunately, the tool doesn’t work in Windows 8.
Windows 8 users need to manually visit the Bing homepage to download the latest picture and set it as desktop or lock screen background (see how to change lock screen background). But if you are looking for a way to automatically set latest Bing image as your lock screen background, we have a handy app to share with you.
Users who would like to have latest Bing homepage image as lock screen background can now download a free app named Bing My Lockscreen from the Store. The app lets you browse the eight recent Bing homepage pictures and set your favorite picture as lock screen background.
Another cool feature of Bing My Lockscreen is that it can automatically replace your lock screen background with the latest Bing homepage picture (this feature is coming in the upcoming update). In simple words, your lock screen gets a new background as soon as the Bing homepage gets a new picture.
Open link provided at the end of this article in Internet Explorer or Firefox browser, click View in Store button to open the Bing My Lockscreen in Store.
We also recommend you install HD Wallpapers app to browse and download hundreds of HD images for your Windows desktop and lock screen.
