The password reset disk feature comes as a savior if you ever forget your password. You can use the previously created password reset disk to reset and change the account password and sign in to your account to change the password.
As said, the password reset disk can reset the local user account password only. It cannot be used to reset the Microsoft account password.
If you don’t have a password reset disk for your account and forgotten your account password, you can use this guide to reset and change your Windows 10 local user account password.
