When it comes to searching the internet, Google search is the first name that comes to mind. Of course, it’s one of the first search engines designed to find information available on the Internet.
Google search has been the Internet search market leader for over two decades. Many search engines came and went, but nobody could clinch significant market share from Google search.
While Google search is popular and billions of people use it, a relatively small number of users have been using other search engines like Bing and DuckDuckGo.
DuckDuckGo is not just another search engine. According to the team behind DuckDuckGo, it’s a privacy-focused search engine that never tracks, collects, or stores user data. For instance, your details and search keywords are used to show advertisements, but DuckDuckGo does not do that. In short, DuckDuckGo offers a private web search experience.
Although the number of users who use DuckDuckGo is relatively small, DuckDuckGo’s user base is growing with each passing day.
