Grammarly is one of the best and most popular typing assistant services out there. It can help you with grammar, spelling, clarity, formality, vocabulary, detect plagiarism, and do much more to iron out all errors.
As you might already know, the free version offers almost everything you need. The premium version offers several advanced features and options that you might both want and need, especially if English is not your first language.
The Microsoft Office Word program has its own tool to check spelling and grammar. Microsoft 365 Word also offers an AI-powered dedicated writing assistant called Microsoft Editor to help you write better in more than 20 languages. However, many users prefer Grammarly over the built-in Microsoft Editor for various reasons. If you are one of them, you might want to know how to install Grammarly in Office Word.
This guide shows you how to download and install Grammarly for Office Word on Windows 10/11 PCs.
NOTE: Unlike before, Grammarly developers do not offer a dedicated plugin for Microsoft Office. Instead, they offer one app for the Windows operating system, which, when installed, enables Grammarly on almost all apps. So, in addition to Word and Excel, you are installing and enabling Grammarly on other apps as well. That said, you can disable Grammarly for an app if you do not want Grammarly.
