How To Open Multiple Files At Once In Windows 10/11

Last Updated on March 29, 2023 by admin 2 Comments

Opening a file is easy in Windows. You need to perform double-click on the file or select the file and then hit the Enter key to open it. But how do you open multiple files at once in Windows 10/11? This guide will show you how to open multiple files at once.

Before we tell you how to open multiple files simultaneously, please remember that you cannot open files of different types at once. That is, for instance, you cannot open two picture files and two text files at once. However, using this method, you can open two or four photos or PDF files at once.

Additionally, not all applications support opening multiple files, but most apps support this feature.

I’m using Window 10 Home, and followed the above instructions multiple times, but neither of the methods ever works. In Method 1, the “Open” option never appears, even though I right-clicked the files I wanted. For Method 2, all the files are Word docs (.docx) in a single folder, so it’s not a conflict between file types.

Please tell me what I can do to get all the necessary files to be open simultaneously.

I attempt to open 1 text box and another is always behind the one I am working.
