Last Updated on October 16, 2025 by admin Leave a Comment

We all visit multiple websites on our Windows 11 PCs every day for various reasons. While some websites are visited only once or twice a day, there are websites that we visit multiple times a day. For instance, we visit search engine websites like Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo several times a day. Likewise, AI chatbot services like ChatGPT and Google Gemini are also visited several times.

When a web browser is open, visiting a website is breezy. We just need to start typing the URL of the website in the address bar or click the favorites/bookmarks (if added) to quickly visit a website. In addition to this, one can also pin a website to the Windows 11 taskbar for quick and easy access.

Yes, just like how you can pin an app to the taskbar, you can also pin a website to the Windows 11 taskbar. The best part is that you do not need any third-party tool to add a website to the taskbar. The built-in Microsoft Edge browser or the popular Google Chrome browser helps you pin your favorite website to the taskbar.

This guide shows you how to pin any website to the Windows 11 taskbar with the help of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Pin a website to the Windows 11 taskbar via the Microsoft Edge browser

Step 1: Launch the Microsoft Edge browser from search or any other way. If the Edge web browser is missing, you can get it for free. Refer to our how to install the Microsoft Edge browser in Windows 11 guide for step-by-step directions.
