Depending on the Microsoft Office 365 subscription type, you might have installed Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Access, SharePoint, Exchange, and Publisher, or some of these apps only.
If one or more Office applications are not working as expected, you can consider repairing them. Yes, Office 365 apps can be repaired without losing any data.
However, note that you cannot repair individual Office apps. The repair option performs the repair job for all installed Office applications.

Repair Microsoft Office 365 in Windows 10/11
Step 1: Open the Windows 10/11 Settings app. On a Windows 10 PC, go to Apps > Apps & features page. On Windows 11 PC, please navigate to Apps > Installed apps page.
Step 2: Here, look for the Microsoft 365 entry. Note that you might see some other entries like Microsoft 365 (Office). Please ignore them.
On Windows 10, click on the Microsoft 365 entry and then click the Modify button. On Windows 11, click the three dots next to the entry and then click the Modify option.
Step 3: Click the Yes button when you see the UAC prompt.
Step 4: You will now get the following dialog. Here, if your PC is connected to an internet connection, select the Online repair option, as it fixes all issues.
However, if your PC is offline, please select the Quick Repair option.
Step 5: Finally, click the Repair button.
Step 6: When you are asked for confirmation, click the Repair button. Depending on the type of repair option you have selected, the repair job might take minutes to close to an hour on a slow internet connection.
That’s it! You may now start your Office 365 application. Hopefully, the repair job has fixed the issue.
Repair Microsoft Office 365 on Mac?
Unfortunately, Microsoft Office 365 does not come with a repair option on the Mac. So, you have no option to repair Microsoft Office on Mac. On Mac, we suggest reinstalling Office.
