Major web browsers out there allow you to sign in to the browser so that you can sync your profile and data across your devices.
Just like its competitors, Microsoft’s Edge browser also allows you to sign into the browser. All you need is a Microsoft account.
When you sign into Edge with a Microsoft account, you can sync your passwords, open tabs, favorites/bookmarks, personal information, history, extensions, and collections across your Edge browser on your devices using the same Microsoft account.
Most Edge users utilize the sync feature as they can sync their data across their devices. The function is convenient, particularly if you switch between multiple devices.
If, for some reason, you do not want to use the Microsoft account with the Edge browser or want to use a different account to sign in, you can quickly sign out of it. Here is how to sign out of the Microsoft account in the Edge browser.
