Step 1: Right-click on the Word icon in the taskbar to see a list of the ten most recently edited or created Word documents.
Click on a document to open the same with the Word app.

View a full list of recent Word documents in Windows 10/11
Step 1: Launch the Word app using search or any other way.
Step 2: Simultaneously press the Ctrl and O keys (Ctrl + O) to view a full list of recent Word documents. The list shows no less than 50 most recent Word documents created or edited on your computer.

Step 1: Launch the Microsoft Office Word app on your Mac using Finder (search) or from the launchpad.
