A small number of computer and smartphone users are concerned about their privacy and want to better protect their privacy by stopping operating systems and applications from collecting and sending data.

PC users who were on Windows 7 or Windows 8 never required to change default privacy settings as Microsoft was hardly collecting any data from these versions of Windows. Users were only concerned about third-party programs and web services.

Windows 10 has been criticized for it’s default settings giving Microsoft access to every bit of date on your machine from docs to pics – in fact some have referred to Windows 10 as the most intrusive piece of Spyware and malware ever created. MS says you can opt out of many of these intrusions into your privacy but there are articles that state that buried in the words of the end user agreement MS reserves the right to accr=ess any and all content on your PC at at anytime without your permission or even a fore warning.

My question is – is that true – does Microsoft reserve the right in their end user agreement to access all the users data regardless of whether or not the end user is has opted out of their doing so. –

and 2. If you can opt out of these intrusions – how do you do so and how can you trust these fixes are adequate against an undesired download of your private information.

    Thanks Much

    Nick
