In addition to the traditional Control Panel, Windows 10 also includes a new Control Panel, called Settings to configure various new features introduced with this version of Windows. The modern Control Panel, unlike the traditional one, can’t be launched from Run dialog or Windows Explorer, but it will eventually replace the traditional Control Panel.

The Settings is the place where you can find settings to customize the Start menu and taskbar, change the desktop and lock screen background, configure Find My Device, turn on or off Windows Defender, and many more settings. Unlike the PC Settings in Windows 10, the Settings in Windows 10 includes most of the options and settings available under Control Panel.
