Reset Facebook App In Windows 10/11

Reset Facebook app on Windows 11 PC

Step 1: Open Windows 11 Settings using search or any other methods. Go to Apps > Installed apps page.

Step 2: Look for the Facebook entry. Click the three dots next to the Facebook entry and then click Advanced options.

Step 3: On this page, scroll down to see the Reset section. Here, click the Reset button to reset the Facebook app.

Resetting the Facebook app in Windows 10

Important: Resetting the Facebook app will remove the Facebook app’s data from your Windows 10 PC or device, and you might need to sign in again to the Facebook app after resetting the app.

Here is how to reset the Facebook app on a Windows 10 PC or device.

Step 1: Open the Settings app. Navigate to Apps > Apps & features. If you are on Windows 10 Anniversary (1607) or earlier, navigate to System > Apps & features.

Step 2: Locate the Facebook app entry, and then click on the same to see the Advanced options link. Click the Advanced options link to open the Storage usage and app reset page.

 

Step 3: Here, to reset the Facebook app, click the Reset button. When you see the confirmation dialog, click the Reset button again to reset the Facebook app.

Launch the Facebook app now. It should open and work without any issues now. If it starts acting again, please uninstall the app and then install a fresh copy from Windows Store.
