Bing is well known for its homepage wallpapers rather than search results. Ever since Microsoft launched Bing back in 2009, Bing’s home page has been showcasing beautiful wallpapers every day. A year later, Google also tweaked the homepage and made it possible to add background images to the search homepage.
There are plenty of free applications to download, even automatically set Bing wallpaper as the desktop background. There are also tens of Windows themes available based on Bing homepage wallpapers at the official Windows personalization gallery.
If you prefer to use Google Search to Bing but love the Bing homepage wallpapers, you can now easily set the Bing wallpaper as the Google Search homepage background. The only condition is that you must be using Google Chrome as your web browser.
A Chrome extension lets you automatically set Bing homepage wallpaper as the Google search homepage background. Bing wallpaper for Google homepage is the extension all you need.
Visit Bing wallpaper for the Google homepage extension page and add it to your Chrome browser. That’s it! From now onwards, whenever you open the Google search homepage, you will see the Bing wallpaper as the Google background. The only catch is that the wallpaper occupies the entire screen area of the Google page, unlike Bing’s homepage.
You can change the default settings, such as default wallpaper resolution and load settings, by opening the extension’s options. This extension also lets you set pictures from your Picasa album as Google homepage background.
