This sucks. I’ve been screwing around trying to find a whatsapp version that’s apparently nowhere to be found. Expiration of current version approaching and I can’t even get a reply from you folks as the the installability on my version of Windows/10 which, because of it’s license type, does not list the latest build # tag … best it’s got is the last fix number installed.
Look guys, you’ve got to relax the expiry date on the existing Whatsapp if you’re not going to supply answers or a reasonably easy to download and install (with installer safety that checks for acceptable Windows host version).
Every link to the latest Whatsapp version I’ve found on the web is on pages that are LITTERED with “Download” or “Start” buttons buried in ad blocks splashed throughout the text blocks that have something to do with the new Whatsapp version. FINDING SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY STARTS SOME PIECE OF THE WHATSAPP revision installation is nearly impossible.

This program is marked outdated when it is installed on windows. Uninstall it then go to MS app store and install their version. The app will be installed on the list of the apps displayed when you click on START. For quick access you can pin it on start-bar.
