The Aero glass feature which was introduced with Windows Vista has been part of Windows 7 as well. The Aero glass transparency not only enhances the look of window borders and taskbar but also lets you quickly view items on the desktop with the help of Aero Peek feature.
While Microsoft has incorporated a couple of feature in Windows 7 to help users better personalize the desktop, limited options are available to change the default Aero glass settings. If you would like to have more control over the Aero glass, you have no option but to go for third-party tools. While there are tens of free tools available to tweak the default settings of Aero Shake, Aero Peek and Aero Snap, none of them let you change color balance, blur balance and after glow balance of Aero.
If you want to tweak the default Aero settings of Windows 7, we have a good news for you. You can now tweak and personalize Windows 7 Aero settings such as blur and color with the help of a free tool named AeroTuner.
AeroTuner is a free tool for Windows 7 from the maker of popular Alt + Tab Tuner. With the help of AeroTuner you can customize Aero color, blur balance, Aero stripes, and after glow color balance.
Other than above mentioned settings, you can also configure the main color and glow color to your desired ones. This is a standalone tool and requires no installation. Overall, another great tool to customize Windows 7 Aero settings. We suggest you create a system restore point before changing default Aero settings so that you can easily revert to original settings with a few mouse clicks.
